Located at 5540 Preston Road, in Highland Park, Texas, Oglesby • Greene fitted the bank's program onto a very narrow lot by siting the building to the front and side edges, creating a strong urban presence. A trellised pedestrian circulation axis links the parking areas to a common entry, which is flanked by an adjacent clock tower containing vertical circulation.
Rich materials including Texas Leuters limestone, stucco, green tinted glass, steel, wood trellises, and patinaed copper hip roofs were used to achieve human scale and successfully transition between its adjacent commercial and residential uses.
Both the downtown facility at 2020 Ross Avenue and the Bent Tree Branch, located at 16475 Dallas Parkway have realized extensive renovation and interior design services provided by Oglesby • Greene.
