Ben Reavis, AIA

Ben has 18 years of broad based experience including planning and all phases of design. He has been with Oglesby Greene for 15 years. Prior to joining our team Ben worked for two years in Rotterdam, Netherlands in the Urban Design Group for an award winning architecture firm. This experience gives him a unique perspective on design which has resulted in an approach rooted in human scale and respect for site ecology.
Ben’s experience includes commercial, residential and institutional projects through all phases of design and construction. His current projects include planning and design for Encore Park, 508 Park Avenue, a private residence in Dallas, and affordable multifamily housing. This broad range of work is consistent with Oglesby Greene’s history of Generalist practice.
He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.S. in Architecture and earned a Masters of Architecture from Rice University where he received a full scholarship and the L.F McCollum Fellowship. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas, an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB).
Ben is a resident of Downtown Dallas and advocate for quality-of-life and urban design issues. He has served as a member of the Downtown Residents Council Executive Committee for the last seven years. As a part of that commitment, he is currently serving on the DART D2 Stakeholders committee and the Downtown Dallas Transportation Task Force.
Ben currently serves on multiple boards and committees for local organizations. He is the acting Chair of the Public Policy Committee for AIA Dallas, where he was recently awarded a President’s Citation for Innovate Programming. His service for other community and professional organizations includes, NCARB Test Development Committees, DDI Mobility Committee, and A New Dallas Design Charrette.
